It all started when the owners of a small furniture Spanish furniture company were presented with an opportunity to invest in a cattle ranch in the remote Jungle of the Paraguayan Chaco. Several visits late it became clear – generations of the people from this region had honed their leather-working skills, becoming agile leather craftsman. The opportunity to share the results of their fascinating work became a passion and in 2003 the firm now known as Sol&Luna was born.
Focused on the use of wood and leather from the Chaco region to create a product line of fully sustainable goods of an unparalleled standard of excellence. Only the highest quality raw materials are given to our uniquely talented artisans, the result is the incomparable Collection of Sol&Luna.
In the beginning it was simple items such as salt and pepper grinders, flasks, trays, and ice buckets. The collection continued to grow and through experimentation in hunting stools, tables, armchairs, desks, and coolers, it now encompasses such extravagant pieces as bicycles. Even a Citroen 2CV automobile! The possibilities are truly limitless!
While the original Sol&Luna boutique continues to operate servicing clients from its location in the famed Barrio de Salamanca Shopping District in Madrid – Sol&Luna objects are now available through exclusive retailers in Paris, New York and London. And most importantly now available for use in Hospitality and Hotel Projects through PROJECT DIRECT.
